LaVar Ball News

BREAKING: Ball Family Set to Leave Lithuania This Week

on

In a not-so-surprising move, LaVar Ball is reportedly heading back to the states as early as this weekend. With tensions between current BC Vytautas coach, Virginijus Seskus growing beyond repair, LaVar has had enough — and with good reason.

“We’re not going to waste our time no more,” LaVar told 15min.it reporter, Donatas Urbonas.

Throughout this season, LaVar has gone above and beyond to help change the culture of a struggling club in Vytautas. Things got so bad for the team that they were losing players through injuries as well as financial constraints. However, LaVar sought to change that by gifting the club enough money to clear their debts, as well as provide revenues from their reality show, Ball in the Family.

Not to mention the ongoing promotion of Vytautas of the Ball family through social media, jersey sales, tickets, etc. that undoubtedly increased their bottom line much more.

The silver lining in all of this is that LaVar has developed some great relationships which allows him possibly better options in the future. Not only that, LiAngelo, LaVar’s second son, has played his way into an NBA Draft prospect, that the Los Angeles Lakers flew a scout to Lithuania recently.

So, while the ending may not be what either party envisioned, the goal was accomplished, and LaVar and Big Baller Brand have increased their awareness with European ties.

As for Vytautas, this looks horrifically bad on their part. The exploitation of two teenagers for financial gain and social recognition is appalling. The unfortunate part about this is LaVar will be labeled again in a bad light without highlighting the good deeds he did for the club.

The relationship however is now over, and the focus will shift to LiAngelo’s draft preparation, and the jump start of the JBA League.
