LaVar Ball May Supersede the NBA with Latest Strategy of Wanting All Sons on the Same Team

on

LaVar Ball is a boss. Let me repeat that statement and add to it — LaVar Ball is a boss who is unafraid of making boss moves. Just recently, LaVar made another bold statement when speaking with Donatas Urbonas that stated, “Lonzo will be on his 3rd year and I want let every NBA team know, that Lonzo is not going to resign with the Lakers, but will go to any team, that will take all of my three boys.”

Whoa.

Talk about a man with a plan and a plan that seemingly forces the hand(s) of the Lakers or any other team who desires Lonzo, LiAngelo, and LaMelo. Now, of course LaVar will be criticized to the umpteenth degree for stating this, but people who get up in arms about his comments aren’t necessarily mad at what he says, but rather the fact he has the gall to say them in the first place.

None of this however, is anything new. LaVar has stated from day one that his plan is to have all of his sons play together on the same team. The irony in all of this is that while many analysts cry over what they believe are damaging comments for Lonzo, it is quite clear that he is in 100% support of his father and would more than likely desire the same thing. I mean seriously, who wouldn’t want to play with their brothers or best friends? LeBron James too was criticized last year when he stated he’d love to play with his banana boat clique some day, as that would be “fun”.

The Big Baller Brand is not just a brand, but it’s also a lifestyle. They have proven time and time again that you can either roll with them, or they’ll roll right through you. If a team is not willing to have all three boys together, do not be surprised to see LaVar’s JBA League go from junior status, to full-blown pro status. He’s already proven he can generate just as much, if not more than typical NBA games can in terms of viewership with the Big Baller Brand Challenge Games.

The NBA is on notice, and the Lakers have been on notice from day one. The clock is ticking, and the chess match is back on. Your move Lakers.
